Lester and Vernest Rice Enterprise was built on a foundation of community. We give back through programs, partnerships, and events designed to reduce stigma around mental health and addiction, empower youth, and strengthen families across Hampton Roads.
Free weekly peer-led support groups for individuals in recovery, facilitated by our certified counselors. Open to adults at all stages of the recovery journey. A safe, supportive, and confidential space to share, grow, and stay accountable.
Free public workshops covering mental health literacy, stress and anxiety management, healthy relationship skills, grief support, and addiction awareness. Held monthly at local community centers, churches, and libraries.
Mentorship, life skills training, and substance abuse prevention for youth ages 13–24 in Hampton and Newport News. We equip young people with the tools they need to make healthy choices and build bright futures.
Collaborating with local churches, mosques, and faith organizations to bring accessible, culturally competent mental health resources directly into communities that need them most — bridging the gap between faith and healing.
We partner with shelters, community centers, and social service organizations to connect individuals facing hardship with mental health resources, support groups, and compassionate care.
Counseling, life skills coaching, and community connections for individuals transitioning out of incarceration. We believe second chances are real — and we walk alongside people as they rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose.
